Additional notes:

This update reworks characters to show awareness of their environments and your progress. They dynamically tempt you and overall feel more lively.

A SubscribeStar has been opened for anyone who wants to financially support development here. But it's not at all required nor expected. Liminal Lust will always be free and open source.

Changelog:

General Character Content:

- When starting a conversation with a character, they can briefly acknowledge the room they're in.

- You can headpat every character.

- Dialogue buttons where characters talk about themselves have been moved to their own category.

- You can ask each character to give their opinions on all other characters you’ve previously met. (You can’t ask them to talk about characters you haven’t met yet.)

- Each character keeps track of how much nanites you’ve spent on them and will display the amount on their interaction popup. (They’ll all start at 0 if you’re loading from an older save since nanites weren’t tracked before.)

- You can now talk to Karmall and Rananya about the specific room they're in. (And Pruzaieuv, but good luck getting her to focus on something other than you.)

- When selecting the back button after any interaction, characters will reflect that very last interaction and respond differently.

Temptation:

- After asking for a character’s services, you will unlock their temptation mechanics.

- Rananya has a 25% chance of trying to tempt you if you have 15 or more nanites. There's 3 random variations to his temptations.

- Karmall has a 50% chance of trying to tempt you when you approach her with a lot of nanites. There's 3 versions and each one gets more lewd based on the amount of nanites you have (10+, 20+ and 30+).

- Pruzaieuv has a 80% chance of begging you to fuck her when you approach her with 5 or more nanites. There's 3 random variations of begging.

- Every temptation event gives you the option to either give in or resist temptation.

- Giving in will plop you into the character's sexual services menu and you won't be able to leave until you fuck them at least once.

- Resisting temptation will make them stop and the general interact menu will pop up.

- After going through a character’s temptation scene once, they won’t try to tempt you again until after you go through a portal.

- Karmall and Rananya will not try to tempt you right after you’ve just met them even if you have the nanites for it, but Pruzaieuv might.

Rananya specific content:

- 4 new talk dialogue options.

- "Got any advice for finding anomalies?" scene has been slightly expanded with an additional option that teases upcoming content.

- Rananya has a new sleep event that has a 10% chance of triggering if you’ve previously met him.

- When Rananya is sleeping, the interact popup says “Check on Rananya“ instead of “Talk to Rananya“ and he has a new sleeping sprite.

- If you interact with Rananya while he sleeps, a nifty scene will play and you’ll be given the choice to either wake him up or leave.

Pruzaieuv specific content:

- 2 new dialogue options.

- First one gets unlocked by asking her “Why are you like this?”.

- Second one gets unlocked by asking the first option.

Anomaly changes:

- Lights Out anomaly now changes the portal locator text color to pink instead of red.

- Characters will now disappear if you give into the masturbation temptation during one of the Lights Out anomaly variations.

Menu:

- Added SubscribeStar button.

- Added a dedicated section in the Credits page for SubscribeStar supporters.

Quality of Life:

- The “Main Menu“ button in the pause screen now asks for confirmation if you want to go to the menu.

- Portals no longer teleport you upon collision and now require you to press the interact key to use them.

- Interact popups have been visually and mechanically improved.

- Interact popups no longer show a character’s gender if you have selected only one gender to spawn.

- The camera centers on the character you interact with.

- The “dialogue box continue arrow” changes its sprite to indicate that either an options menu is about to show up or it’s the end of the dialogue.

- The background clouds in the dialogue screen are now prerendered and no longer require you to interact with a character to trigger them.

- Sprite layers in the dialogue screen now give the appearance of a single image instead of being made out of multiple sprites when fading in and out.
